The Recording Industry Association of America has certified the digital version of Carrie Underwood's "All American Girl" single as platinum, signifying 1 million paid legal downloads. The song went to No. 1 on the Billboard country chart in March of 2008. In other news, Carrie, along with mother Carole and sisters Shanna and Stephanie, is helping to promote TeachersCount's Behind Every Famous Person Is a Fabulous Teacher campaign. Carole, Shanna and Stephanie are all teachers.
