Van Morrison baby story a hoax
On December 29th, is was announced that Van Morrison and a woman named Gigi Lee had had a baby boy. The story has now been claimed as a hoax, according to Van Morrison's publicity team. According to the New York Times, a statement issued on Mr. Morrison’s behalf by the public relations company Fleishman-Hillard International said that the reports were “completely and utterly without foundation,” and that he had asked his management “to carry out an immediate investigation into a hacking attack which took place on my Web site on Dec. 29th last.”
The hack claimed that Gigi Lee was Morrison's wife and manager. In truth, Morrison is married to former Miss Ireland Michelle Rocca and has been for 20 years. Mr. Morrison has also said that he has no idea who Gigi Lee is, but this is currently in doubt. The woman is listed as a director of several companies where Morrison also serves on the board. However, Morrison himself admits he's bad a remembering names.
