Last month, Metallica gave tribute to Elton John and Bernie Taupin by performing their music, as they were honored by the Library Of Congress with the Gershwin Prize.

Just this week, Metallica released a snip of the PBS performance video of them singing “Funeral For A Friend/Love Lies Bleeding,” a song from Elton’s 1973 album, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.

Elton and Bernie were in the audience at the invitation-only event. Fans may recall that Elton performed on The Metallica Blacklist album in 2021.
