Slipknot To Perform At Small Club In Advance Of Festival

Slipknot will do an intimate first show with their new drummer on Thursday night, April 25, at a small venue called Pappy + Harriet’s in Pioneertown, California. The 350 capacity club, is located near Joshua Tree National Park.

The $9 tickets sold out quickly when announced on Tuesday (4-23). All proceeds go to Joshua Tree No Kill Shelter and BOYS & GIRLS CLUB of the Hi Desert. Pappy + Harriet’s will also match Slipknot’s donation up to $5,000.

There’s been a whirl of rumors about the band’s new members and late last week, Slipknot launched a website, YouCantKillMe.com, which contains lots of teasers. The site seems to say that the new drummer is Eloy Casagrande, formerly of Sepultura… and that Craig Jones‘ replacement is someone named Jeff.

Slipknot will play Sick New World Festival this weekend in Vegas.
