Cage The Elephant To Perform On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ This Week

This Wednesday night, May 8th, Cage The Elephant will perform their new song “Rainbow” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on ABC. The band will be set up on a special stage outside of the studio. Their appearance is to promote a new album, Neon Pill, due May 17.

Frontman Matt Schultz said: “Neon Pill is the first record where we were consistently uninfluenced, and I mean that in a positive way.” He explained: “We’ve always drawn inspiration from artists we love, and at times we’ve even emulated some of them to a certain degree. With this album, having gone through so much, life had almost forced us into becoming more and more comfortable with ourselves.”

Just last week, they dropped a new singe titled “Metaverse.” So far, the band from Bowling Green, KY, has released 3 songs from the upcoming album, and the title track, “Neon Pill” became their 11th #1 song on the Billboard Alternative chart.
