Rolling Stones Cover Bob Dylan And Add Tour Debuts At Las Vegas Show

The Rolling Stones continue to mix things up on their current Hackney Diamonds Tour. On Saturday at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium, the rock legends debuted four songs for the first time on this tour, including a rousing cover of the 1965 classic, “Like a Rolling Stone,” by their musical contemporary Bob Dylan. “We didn’t write this song,” Mick Jagger admitted before they kicked into the Dylan anthem. “This was specially written for us by a Nobel Prize laureate.”

The Stones also dusted off their 1967 hit single, “Let’s Spend the Night Together,” the fan-voted Voodoo Lounge standout “You Got Me Rocking,” and the Keith Richards-led Let It Bleed jam “You Got the Silver,” all for the first time on the tour. All four new additions to the Stones setlist in Vegas were last played by the band back in 2022. The Rolling Stones now head to Seattle to play Lumen Field on May 15. (Ultimate Classic Rock)
