Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy has just announced a solo tour this fall that will bring the singer-songwriter to locations he hasn’t played in years. Tweedy’s solo jaunt takes place mainly throughout the month of October, following two previously announced hometown shows in Chicago in September. Tweedy’s run of solo dates starts and ends with a pair of residencies, starting off with three nights in Woodstock, New York at the Bearsville Theater from October 11-13, and winding down with a three-night stand in Menlo Park, California at the Guild Theatre on October 28-30. Tweedy will be supported at all his solo October shows by fellow Chicago singer-songwriter Elizabeth Moen. Tweedy is also taking part in the Cayamo Cruise, a 7-day journey at sea which will also feature performances by Emmylou Harris, Grace Potter, Nickel Creek, Ani DiFranco, Lucius, and Little Feat.
