The Cure Set To Release Live Recordings Of Two New Songs

The Cure have just announced details of a forthcoming vinyl release titled, Novembre – Live in France 2022, which will be released on October 1. The double A-side single will feature two live recordings of new Cure songs called, “And Nothing Is Forever” and “I Can Never Say Goodbye.” The two live recordings have been featured in the setlist of the band’s shows in recent years, but they will technically represent the Cure’s first new music they have released in 16 years, dating back to their 2008 album, 4:13 Dream. The record is set to be released via the sustainability-focused Naked Record Club, and will serve as a special benefit single with 100% of the profits going to Brian Eno’s climate charity, Earth Percent.

Eno said in a statement, “I’d like to thank The Cure and NAKED Record Club — both true innovators — for their generous support of vital climate projects through the release of The Cure – Novembre: Live In France 2022. It’s a powerful example of how the music community can work together to build a better world.” (Consequence of Sound)
