Sevendust Set To Tour Without Guitarist Clint Lowery

Sevendust are hitting the road on Friday (September 13) to launch a US tour to celebrate the 21st anniversary of their Billboard Top 15 album, Seasons. But the band announced on Instagram on Tuesday (September 10) that they will be performing these shows without their guitarist Clint Lowery, who is recovering after suffering a neck injury. “We are excited to get on the road and celebrate the 21st Anniversary of Seasons with you all,” wrote Sevendust. “Unfortunately due to a recent neck injury and under doctor’s advisement, our brother Clint Lowery is going to have to miss these dates. He has been instructed to rest to allow the injury to heal and rocking with you all would work against his recovery from this injury.” Sevendust have tapped Jon Jourdan from Mammoth WVH to fill in for Lowery on most of their upcoming dates, with the band’s manager Tim Tournier taking over on guitar for the shows when Jon isn’t available.
