Bring Me The Horizon Hides A Video Game Inside Their New Album

Bring Me The Horizon have put more than just music within their new album, Post Human: Nex Gen. The UK band hid a video game in the last song of the record, “Dig It,” which closes with  noisy static. One attentive fan opened the song in the software Audacity, which revealed that the random sounds were actually a spectogram, a visual representation of audio files. The spectogram was actually a QR code that when scanned takes you to a playable video game. Bring Me The Horizon’s singer Oli Sykes hinted at something hidden in the new record with this mysterious quote: “It’s a real concept album, with a full narrative that connects to the first record, but the concept is hidden and buried. There’s a lot of things in there, some of it’s quite clear, but a lot of it cryptic and hidden. People are gonna have to work it out.” (Louder Sound)
