Mötley Crüe Announce New EP Featuring Beastie Boys Cover

Mötley Crüe have just announced their new three-song EP titled, Cancelled, which is due out on October 4. In advance of its release, the legendary rock band has shared a studio version of their cover of the Beastie Boys’ classic “Fight for Your Right,” which the Crüe have been working into their recent live sets over the last few years. The rest of the Cancelled EP will feature the yet-to-be-released title track as well as the previously shared single, “Dogs of War,” which marked the Crüe’s first new music in five years as well as their first song with new guitarist John 5. The former guitarist for Rob Zombie is also featured on the Crüe’s Beastie Boys cover as well.

“It was really great getting in the studio and working on some tracks together,” Mötley Crüe shared in a press statement. “What started out as a couple demo ideas turned into this EP produced by Bob Rock. We look forward to getting back into the studio again soon and writing more new music, as well.” (Consequence of Sound)
