Sammy Hagar continues to grow his brand of the tropical lifestyle. It started with his flagship, Cabo Wabo Cantina in Mexico, that opened in 1990.
Now there’s Sammy’s Island at the Palms Casino Resort in Vegas. Promoted as a tropical poolside oasis, you can enjoy tropical cocktails at the Tiki Bar, or you can party like a rockstar and purchase one of the cabanas, bungalows or lily pads.
Poolside bars will offer Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum, a partnership he has with Rick Springfield.
The grand opening celebration of Sammy’s Island is set for May 17 with a performance by a Hagar tribute band, called Red Voodoo. The grand opening event is free.
