Queens Of The Stone Age To Become The First Band To Ever Play The Catacombs Of Paris

During a press conference at last weekend’s Hellfest 2024 in Clisson, France, Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme revealed that his group has just booked a thrilling new show in Paris. Homme shared that QOTSA  have scheduled a concert taking place at the historic Catacombs of Paris. Homme admitted that he has spent “18 years” trying to book a show in the Catacombs, and according to him, Queens of the Stone Age will be the very first band to ever play there. He also said the performance will also be recorded live.

A representative for QOTSA confirmed that the concert is booked, but didn’t provide any additional details about when the show is scheduled and what the setup will be like. QOTSA are currently in Europe as part of their expansive “The End Is Nero World Tour,” supporting their 2023 album, In Times New Roman… The tour has recently been extended with four additional fall US dates with the Kills, which gets underway on September 28 in Boston.
