John Mayer Praises Zach Bryan’s New Album, Says He Is Stunned To Be Included

Zach Bryan released his highly anticipated new album, The Great American Bar Scene, on the 4th of July. And country music fans spent the long holiday weekend enjoying the album. Another fan out there who thinks that Bryan’s new record is “beautiful” is noneother than John Mayer. The pop superstar makes a guest appearance on Bryan’s new tune, “Better Days,” where he plays guitar and sings backing vocals.

Mayer paid tribute to Bryan’s musical and songwriting talents on X, posting: “Better Days” by Zach Bryan and me off Zach’s new album “The Great American Bar Scene” is out now. I always knew this song Zach wrote was special,” Mayer wrote. “I had no idea how beautiful, powerful and deep an album it would be a part of. I’m stunned. I’m blessed to have been able to fulfill my dreams of making music. What I never saw coming: to be asked to play with an artist as deeply tapped in as @zachlanebryan is. Thank you for inviting me into your dream-coming-true.” (Rolling Stone)
